The Human Resources team provides leadership on human resources matters for over 300 employees of the Uniting Church in South Australia, including Ministers and lay people. With statewide coverage this role is broad and will utilise your broad experience in HR.Reporting to the Manager Human Resources you will also work closely with the Placements and Safe Church Team and payroll administration.Key amongst your responsibilities will be managing all the documentation pertaining to the placement of Ministers and Memorandum of Understandings with other associated organisations. You will also work collaboratively with payroll administration to ensure accurate payments of stipends and benefits as well as ensuring the accuracy of records in relation to long service leave. You will also have responsibilities in the administration of the Ministers Benefit fund and provide administrative support to this committee and the Placements Committee.With your experience in Human Resource practices and compliance as they relate to employment, employee relations and workplace health and safety you will be able to advise and guide the congregations and Church leadership on HR matters and add value to the HR team.
