Strengthening their ability to coordinate and implement supports in their National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) individualised funding packagesSupporting their engagement with mainstream, formal and informal servicesDeveloping capacity and resilience in their network.Recovery Coach: Developing a recovery-enabling relationship with people including their family and carersSupporting a person to develop and implement their individual recovery planCoaching a person to increase recovery skills and personal capacity, including motivation, strengths, resilience, and decision-makingCollaborating with broader systems including available services and resourcesSupporting people to become active participants in the NDISRequirements: Minimum of a Cert IV in a Community services related discipline (ideally a completed degree or Diploma)Experience in a human services environment, particularly experience in understanding service delivery and how it can best deliver for clients with persistent and complex mental health.Experience in assisting participants to test their eligibility of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) or transition them to other appropriate supports.Highly-developed communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills including the ability to work and communicate effectively with clients, their families, community agencies and other professionals.Ability to meet deadlines in a high demand work environment and to exercise judgment and initiative.Excellent organisational and time management skills.Must be eligible to apply/currently hold a WWCCMust hold/be willing to apply for NDIS worker screening clearanceCurrent Drivers LicenseStride is committed to the safeguarding of children and vulnerable people.
