Support Coordinator NDIS – Bunbury  Full Time - Immediate start (preferred)
Hera Support is a dedicated NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) Support Coordination company.  Hera was founded by a diverse group of individuals who understand the importance of community and have personal experience with disabilities and the NDIS.  This combination of backgrounds brings a unique perspective and understanding to better support individuals navigating the NDIS. 
Support Coordination plays a crucial role in the NDIS by assisting participants navigate the complex systems, and access various services to provide the best support to reach their goals.  Our team are passionate and motivated to achieve positive outcomes for participants, their families, and other stakeholders through our relevant experiences and in-depth knowledge of the industry.
The role: We have an exciting opportunity for a NDIS Support Coordinator based in our Bunbury office. 
On any given day our Support Coordinators can deal with many critical tasks which require exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, detailed and accurate administrative skills, the ability to multitask and maintain a focus on time and organisation. 
Most importantly, a Support Coordinator must have the ability to truly engage through empathy with participants, supporting them to navigate the NDIS marketplace, working collaboratively with providers and stakeholders, whilst maintaining productive community and inter-agency relations.
A working knowledge of the NDIS or at least some aspects of the scheme, from prior employment or through lived experience, will be beneficial. You will need to actively develop, implement, monitor, and review participants' NDIS plans and report on progress and outcomes. 
The ability to work well within a small team environment, while having the confidence and knowledge to work autonomously and solve problems.
Required for this role: ESSENTIAL  Experience working within the human services, disability, or allied health area, with relevant case work experience.Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, for establishing effective working relationships and ongoing rapport in the community.Exceptional time management skills and the capacity to adapt to a changing environment.Intermediate skills in MS Office suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, and databases.A satisfactory National Police Clearance that is less than 6 months old.  A current Driver's Licence and willing to travel for work.A Current NDIS Worker Screen and Working with Children Check, or able and willing to obtain.  PREFERRED  A working knowledge of the NDIS key principles and knowledge of disability sector legislation.Previous experience as a Support Coordinator and/or tertiary qualification in Social Work/Occupational Therapy/Psychology We Offer: Competitive salary and incentive bonuses.A dedicated, passionate, and friendly team environment.A flexible, autonomous, and independent work environment based on trust.An authentic, values-driven workplace.A client centric service delivery model that supports positive outcomes for all participants.Career opportunities and pathways as we continue to expand throughout WA.
