Our client is a leading FMCG wholesale business with multiple business units across ANZ.
At this current time they are seeking applicants for a newly created Supply Planning Manager position responsible for a portfolio of contract manufacturers. This position manages all facets of developing a robust supply plan and ensures vendors are managed effectively to deliver upon demand forecasts and meet customer delivery performance metrics.
This position requires an individual with a proven track record in supply planning, preferably managing contract manufacturers in domestic and overseas locations. You must bring experience of stakeholder influencing and engagement at all levels both inside and outside of the business.

Key responsibilities:
Supply planning and forecasting to meet overall demand for customer segments. Purchasing management and ensuring vendors meet obligations and supply plan is executed as required. Ensuring the business is kept up to date around product availability and potential supply issues. Continuous improvement - refining and developing systems and processes. Overseeing the Sales & Operations Planning process. Playing a key role in vendor negotiations. Skills required:
Degree qualification in supply chain or equivalent discipline is preferred. Proven track record in supply planning and supplier management. Experience of continuous improvement and refining processes around supply management and forecasting. Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
