We currently have a position available for a Supply Chain Manager based in the ACT. This is a key role within the organisation that will see you heavily involved in developing strategies for the company in evolving their supply chain and logistics from a greenfield. As this is a new role requiring an experienced Supply Chain Manager, the candidate is anticipated to rapidly identify the dynamics of the programs and their requirements and implement a plan to meet that need. Led the Supply Chain team, developed and implemented staff training and succession plans. Implemented materials planning strategies. Managed the Demand Planning and Material Replenishment Planning. Focused on inventory optimisation. Managed and monitored the supply-related performance of international and Australian subcontractors. A track record in Return Material Authorisation. Capability to interpret and align Supply Chain strategies with the overall business strategies. Excellent ERP experience. Possess excellent communication and analytical skills. Demonstrate commercial awareness and an understanding of S&OP processes. Tertiary qualified in Supply Chain, Logistics or Material Management. Candidates will have at least 10 years' experience in Supply Chain management and experience in the defence industry.
