In this job you will As a Transport Operations Manager at DHL, you'll overcome daily logistical challenges to ensure transport operations run smoothly. In a fast-paced environment, where every day is different, you'll have the autonomy to make decisions and be able to continually grow professionally. Managing a fast-paced operation, you will be based at Fairfield with an expectation to strategically prioritise your time and presence to maintain a high-performing and safe working culture. You will work collaboratively with your established team of operational leaders. In addition you will: Lead site retail operation Manage a team of drivers Ensure customer satisfaction through excellent service delivery Drive site budgets and P&L accountability Guide continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs and improve efficiencies in operation Build and maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders, both internal and external Lead and develop the operational leadership team with the opportunity to make your mark with a key DHL Transport customer Maintain and present accurate performance, DIFOT, and safety reporting to the customer at agreed cadence Sustain conformance to inspections, maintenance, and servicing per the Quality Management System Monitor and ensure compliance with NHVAS and/or BFM standards Ideally you will have the following skills and experience 5+ years' experience within a similar Transport Site Operations Manager position preferred Dangerous goods experience will be highly advantageous Excellent people management and influencing skills Commercial acumen Highly developed conflict resolution and negotiation skills Demonstrated ability to build a high-performing and collaborative team environment Proven ability to develop meaningful customer relationships and a flair for presenting key data and insights on a regular basis A preparedness to roll up your sleeves and support the team to deliver effective customer outcomes #J-18808-Ljbffr
