Supply Chain Management (SCM) Master Data ApproverThe key duties of the position include:The Role
Working within the Materiel Logistics (ML) Branch as a SCM Data Approver, you will be responsible for reviewing and approving Materiel Master Data within the SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) system.
You will work closely within a team of approvers to ensure that processing and resolution of MDG requests are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
Reporting to the SCM MDG Manager, the position will be responsible for the following:
Execution of approvals via proficiently analysing technical data contained within materiel master data requests.Quality assessing technical data within the new Material Master Data Governance system.Regularly liaising and coordinating with a broad range of stakeholders across Defence, including Civilian and ADF members, to identify, respond and provide advice in support of Defence outcomes.Performing detailed review and analysis of data quality checks, reports, and user and system errors that arise in the various aspects of day-to-day business activities.Managing and prioritising work, and making independent decisions relating to your area of responsibility.Undertaking specialist research and analysis to develop and implement new processes and procedures relating to SAP MDG and the Defence Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.Providing support to continuous improvement projects across the ML branch.About our Team
Working within the ML Branch, the SCM Data Approval Team is a newly created section, responsible for the governance and development of end-to-end processes for the approval of material master data requests.
The team provides data services to clients across Defence and interacts with a range of internal and external stakeholders to provide expert advice and assistance to our clients through interpretation and adherence to policy, procedures, and data quality standards.
