About the Role The Supplier Relationship Manager is accountable for orchestrating focus areas, shape a culture of partnership across our strategic and growth suppliers and leading practice improvement for procurement. This role will also establish the overall SRM framework that will govern and influence the management of suppliers across the organisation and work with sponsors, category managers and business areas to enhance strategic value.

What will your day look like? As a Supplier Relationship Manager you will:
Be responsible for continuous collaboration and frameworks with strategic suppliers to ensure we are jointly focused on prioritised innovation, competitive advantage and speed to value.
Support ongoing segmentation of key suppliers based on the capabilities, products and services they offer, orchestrating alignment of joint planning and value delivery
Partner deeply with our business to understand key priorities, drive improved outcomes through our partnerships with strategic suppliers and help our procurement teams operationalise key activities to realised our vision
Enhance supplier relationships by championing the right ways of working, optimising the value of executive interactions and orchestrating value delivery above and beyond the contract
Develops and drives balanced scorecards and sustainable value improvement working with strategic suppliers and other supplier facing teams across the bank
Partner with category teams, adjacent communities of practice and business areas to continuously improve our frameworks, drive ESG and social value outcomes
Offers input regarding deal formation and managing outcomes across the supplier lifecycle
Establish strong linkage to value tracking framework to demonstrate the value that our suppliers bring for our executives
Develop & maintain partnerships with key stakeholder groups to understand BU strategy, build the team's profile and link them into procurement support where appropriate
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Excellent influencing and communication skills with ability to build consensus effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels
Track record of effective collaboration in team environments
Experience in transformation, strategy or commercial leadership role, brings an understanding of how to apply supplier frameworks within the banking value chain
Proven ability to think analytically and creatively with excellent quantitative and qualitative problem-solving skills in formulating and testing hypotheses
Strong commercial acumen with ability to analyze cost vs risk trade-offs, drive strategic value and utilising data to influence outcomes across the supplier lifecycle
Brings continuous improvement mindset to understanding of rapidly changing supply markets, digital disruption and a strong desire to develop our SRM practice area within category management
