Executive House Manager – Manly Beach, Sydney Permanent Location : Manly Work Hours: 9.30am – 6.30pm ________________________________ Are you a highly experienced house manager with previous long-term experience in private homes? Do you love running a household and are seeking an appreciative family to look after? A busy professional family in Manly are looking for a long-term highly experienced Executive Residential House Manager who can organize, develop and implement good working systems and schedules to ensure the smooth, day-to-day functioning of the household.
We are looking for someone with the following: Previous house management experience in private homes A high degree of organisation to keep all cupboards, closets, pantry and other spaces in order A high level of attention to detail – noticing and anticipating family needs A high degree of common sense and ability to take ownership of the role and work without supervision Knowledge of laundry, sorting, treating, washing and ironing Able to run errands as required, flexibility and adaptability to accommodate changing needs and priorities.
A high level of discretion and commitment Duties will include: General PA/ Errands as required: Managing trades as required across both properties Overseeing the family calendar and organising home requirements to suit family schedule Additional help with family admin such as paying bills, arranging travel, planning events etc Light housekeeping : All general housekeeping, laundry duties, change of linens, bathrooms, kitchen, dusting, vacuuming, generally ensuring the residence is maintained in a high state at all times.
We will consider additional cleaning support for vacuuming, mopping & bathrooms etc Laundry: must have experience with delicates/colours/ironing/folding and maintaining the wardrobe Organising each family member's closet Drycleaning, Treating laundry appropriately for stains, mending, delicate care Keeping tabs on children's clothing sizes and rotating, hand downs, new requirements Kitchen & Pantry: Food preparation and managing grocery stocks, household requirements and administration.
Organising fridge, pantry and shopping schedules for weekly grocery deliveries Keeping the pantry stocked, organised and rotating items as necessary Meals: Able to provide a range of healthy options for the family; extensive cooking experience is not mandatory, but an interest in food and a willingness to learn is a must We do not require someone with professional cooking ability and are flexible with meal requirements depending on the candidate – however ability to prepare basic meals would be an advantage Requirements: 5-6 years minimum housekeeping experience in private homes or stewardess experience on superyachts A high level of detail and be able to work with limited supervision Police Check or willing to get one prior to commencing Long-term commitment Hours: Mon to Fri, normal hours of work 9.30am – 6.30pm Remuneration: A salary between $100,000 – $120,000 per annum including all benefits and leave entitlements.
