About Cadia Our Cadia Valley Operation in New South Wales is situated about 25 kilometers from Orange and 250 kilometers west of Sydney.
Cadia produces gold doré bars from a gravity circuit and gold-rich copper concentrates from a flotation circuit.
The operation includes the Cadia East Mine which is globally renowned for its use of block caving, a large-scale underground mining method.
We acknowledge the Wiradjuri people, traditional custodians of the land surrounding Cadia, and proudly run an Indigenous Buddy Program to enrich the workplace experience our Indigenous employees.

Who we're looking for Reporting to the Development Foreman, an opportunity has arisen for a motivated Supervisor to lead and support a new team accountable for the Haulage and Logistical support of the mine plan.
This includes but is not limited to the management of underground load and haulage operations and road maintenance.
Key responsibilities include: Ensuring all incidents, near misses and hazards are reported, escalated and investigated.
Driving standards and quality of the responsible work area and assisting other teams where required Promote and maintain a culture of safe development through effective supervision Create a Shift Plan that achieves the Weekly Schedule requirements.
People Management of a large crew including performance, leave management and building a strong culture.
Responsible for achieving daily, weekly and monthly budget and schedule outcomes.
The preferred candidate must hold a NSW Mine Supervisors Practicing Certificate and have extensive knowledge of the mining cycle.
You will also posses the following: A Proven track record in promoting and managing safety in the workplace.
Extensive experience in development and support activities Demonstrated experience in the scheduling of equipment and personnel to maximise efficiencies to achieves weekly plan outcomes.
Exceptional communication (verbal and written) and stakeholder management skills.
Demonstrated experience liaising with operational departments to maximise outcomes.
Please note: This position is based in Orange, NSW on a 7/7 roster days and nights.
