Our strategy is to focus on creating a safe work environment where our employees feel strongly connected to our values and objectives, and where the capability of our people is key to our success.Come and be a part of this success.About the RoleWe currently have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and proactive candidate to join our Production Processing team as the Processing Shift Supervisor at Goonyella Riverside Mine.Reporting directly to the operational CHPP Processing Superintendent, you will be enabled to engage your team and a group of technical experts to not only problem solve but drive continuous improvement to keep adapting to ever-changing conditions.In this role you will:Foster our positive culture within your team to maintain a focus on identifying opportunities and driving continuous improvement.Have an overriding commitment to the sustainability of our inclusive and safety focused workplace culture.Build partnerships and maintain strong working relationships with customers and key stakeholders across the business.Support and encourage strong levels of engagement to drive our site safety and performance.Coach and mentor your team while supporting their development and personal achievements.Safely and proactively execute short term production plans to maximise equipment utilisation and achieve quality targets.Work closely with Process Engineers, Coordinators, Coal Operations, and Maintenance to ensure optimised, efficient coal flow.Monitor and report against daily plan and escalate unplanned and non-routine activity or performance to the Superintendent.About YouThis is a fantastic career opportunity for an individual looking to grow and develop their skills and play a critical role in leading a high performing team to assist the mine in safely achieving our production targets.You can demonstrate experience in your trade and/or processing operations, having had experience in leading and/or enabling teams.Your strong communication and interpersonal skills will support you in maintaining cross-departmental engagement and effective communication throughout multiple levels of the business from mining to port.Your passion for inclusion and collaboration will help drive and support an already positive workplace environment.You are a strong people leader who can engage with people from various backgrounds and experience levels and enables their teams to challenge the norms, to unlock potential to grow.You show equal respect to people at all levels, and portray a positive leadership shadow at all times.About Our ProcessAt BHP, we are committed to employing individuals who align with the BHP Charter Values and meet the requirements of the role.
