Gruyere Gold Mine, a Gold Fields and Gold Road Resources Joint Venture (50/50), is located in the Yamarna Greenstone Belt in Western Australia. Gruyere was commissioned in 2019 and is one of Australia's largest and lowest cost gold mining operations boasting a plant production of 300,000+ ounces per annum with an enviable production profile in excess of 10 years.
Reporting to the Coordinator: Processing Production, you will be responsible for leading and managing the operation of the Processing Crew on a shift-to-shift basis to achieve budgeted production, meeting all quality standards including cost, safety and environment.
This role is offered on an 8 days on 6 days off, 7 nights on 7 days off roster and is Fly in Fly out from Perth.

Provide effective and strong leadership for the development of the crew. Monitor progress of assigned tasks and address any issues. Identify and prioritise improvement opportunities and formulate alternatives to systems and methods. Assist the Coordinators with implementation of change management initiatives and other projects. Daily Maintenance workflow supervision of the crew. Liaise with Metallurgists regarding operating parameters and technical issues in relation to plant operation and communicate to relevant operators. Ensure your crews have clearly defined accountabilities, roles, and development plans. Assist with planning of maintenance, budgets, plans and projects. About you:
Valid Western Australian Driver's Licence Proven supervisory experience in a mineral process plant – preferably gold Experience using Microsoft Office & mining software including SAP/AMT highly desirable Gold Fields is committed to promoting an inclusive workforce.
