Are you an experienced leader with a passion for enhancing and preserving our community's parks and reserves?
Join our dynamic Open Space and Environment team in Maryborough as a Supervisor for High Profile Areas!
In this exciting role, you'll lead teams in horticulture, facilities and asset maintenance.
From daily supervision to contributing to operational programming, you'll play a key part in shaping and maintaining our vibrant outdoor spaces.
The Role Will Involve
Providing technical advice and assistance to team leaders and work crewsOverseeing the allocation of staff and resourcesPreparing weekly programme of worksEngaging contractors and ensuring complianceEnsuring stakeholders are kept informed with a high level of customer service What You Should Have To Apply
You will have experience in a similar role and will be a confident and capable leader.
You will gain satisfaction from mentoring a team and seeing them thrive.
You will have substantial experience in developing programmes of work and working to budgets and timeframes.
You Will Have
Relevant Tertiary Qualification (AQF Level 4 or above) or demonstrated equivalent experience, knowledge and skills commensurate with the position's requirementsStrong communication skills with the ability to build genuine rapport with a range of stakeholdersA high level of computer literacyStrong problem solving skillsA solid understanding of Workplace Health & Safety as it relates to this roleConstruction Induction Training (White Card)Current driver's licence What Our Council Can Offer You
