Illawarra Metallurgical Coal (IMC) produces premium quality, hard coking coal for steelmaking, which is transported within Australia and around the world. We operate two underground metallurgical coal mines, two preparation plants and a logistics chain.

As the Maintenance Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading crews in area of accountability, to achieve performance targets in a safe and efficient manner through the supervision and mentoring of workers.
Other key responsibilities include, but aren't limited to: Supervise a team of trades and be accountable for the safe execution of work management plansEstablish a safety orientated, high performance culture through effective mentoring & coaching; enhanced technical knowledge & promoting continuous professional development of team membersEnsure compliance to the work management processes and implement, maintain, and monitor safety critical risk controlsBuild and communicate work schedules reflecting work management activities; ensure they're resourced and aligned to 12-week planning windowABOUT YOU Experience working in an underground coal mine - preferredPrior experience in a Supervisory role effectively managing dispersed teamsExperience with SAP - highly desirableSelf-reliant contributor with proven proficiency in the Maintenance / Work management planning areaQualifications for this position are:
