Moreton Hospitality is hiring for its reimagined precinct in Broadbeach, set to launch on the 1st of December 2024. With two exciting new venues, we're looking for two passionate and experienced Supervisors to lead our team and support our duty managers in delivering memorable experiences for our guests.About the Venue:Our newly renovated precinct will feature The Beach Hotel, an authentic local pub, offering fresh, high-quality, value-focused elevated pub fare. The renovations include an extended alfresco dining area that spans the entire Surf Parade street front, designed to enhance the venue's street presence and create a vibrant yet relaxed atmosphere. These changes reflect a renewed commitment to providing an elevated pub experience, featuring beloved local amenities such as new TAB facilities, a second bar area to service the alfresco diners, wall-to-wall screens for live sports, and a VIP luxury gaming lounge.On the northern side of the property, we have Cora, a unique dining experience that combines the innovation of modern Australian cuisine with the vibrant, wholesome flavours of the Mediterranean. An elevated dining experience remains central to the offering, adding meaningful value for guests. The atmosphere will shift to a more energetic, playful vibe with funk and disco elements, creating a fun, lively ambience—all while maintaining the high standard of service that guests loved, but without the premium price tag.Main Duties and Responsibilities:Team Management and Coordination: Lead by example, motivate, and support a diverse team to deliver excellent service.Staff Placement and Scheduling: Work alongside the duty managers to create effective schedules, and prepare daily run sheets and staff allocations.Stock Management Assistance and Receivables: Assist with inventory management and tracking of stock levels.Venue Safety and Compliance: Uphold health and safety regulations to maintain a secure environment for both staff and guests.Problem Solving and System Troubleshooting: Address and resolve any operational issues promptly and efficiently.Opening and Closing the Venue: Ensure smooth operations at the start and end of each day.Cash Reconciliation: Accurately manage cash handling and reconciliation processes.The Beach Hotel Supervisor Position - Qualifications/ExperiencePrevious experience in a supervisory role within a Sports Bar or Pub environmentPrevious experience with TAB or Gaming advantageousStrong leadership and team management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.Proficient in cash handling and basic financial reconciliation.RSA & RSGRMLV (desirable)Cora Supervisor Position - Qualifications/ExperiencePrevious experience in a supervisory role within a high-end restaurant environmentHigh-end food and wine knowledgeWSET wine training (advantageous)Bartending experience (advantageous)Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.Proficient in cash handling and basic financial reconciliation.RSAAt Moreton Hospitality, community is at the core of what we do.
