Mining - Engineering & Maintenance (Mining, Resources & Energy)Job Title: Supervisor - Fixed Plant MaintenanceJob Summary:We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated individual to join our team as a Supervisor for Fixed Plant Maintenance at the Ravenswood Gold Plant. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the safety and performance of the maintenance team, ensuring all activities are conducted safely and in compliance with regulations.Key Responsibilities:Promote a safe work culture with active leadership that encourages team members to identify, contain and report hazards in the workplace.Review and coach team members in the use of pre-task safety tools as appropriate for the task to be done.Contribute to the continuous improvement culture of the business by identifying and contributing to opportunities that drive business resilience.Contribute to incident investigations, risk management, and management of change processes.Foster an effective working relationship with the processing, warehousing, maintenance planning and administrative functions of the business.Contribute to and execute the approved weekly maintenance schedule.Utilise visual performance tools to manage team workflow.Manage your team's skills development through appropriate training and opportunities.Qualifications and Skills:Mechanical trade qualifications and a minimum of 5 years' experience within a processing plant environment.Hands-on experience with crushing, screening, milling, and conveying systems maintenance.Experience with pumping and hydraulic systems is also advantageous.Previous supervisory experience within a heavy industry environment.Certificate level frontline leadership training.Hands-on experience with a computerised maintenance management system (CMMS) such as Pronto or SAP.Understanding and contribution to the maintenance work management cycle.Clear verbal and written communication skills.Demonstrated safety leadership and the confidence to lead by example to maintain a high profile in the promotion of a safe working environment.Demonstrated technical experience with fixed plant maintenance activities.Demonstrated ability to manage the workflow of a maintenance team to best utilise their abilities and apply strategies to mitigate skills gaps.Ability to manage team attendance to ensure availability of maintenance resources in line with the 8/6 shift pattern.
