Your Role As Supervisor, you'll take charge of a dedicated team, creating a safe, nurturing environment where children and young people can thrive.
From mentoring staff to fostering resilience in young lives, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping a future where every child has the opportunity to succeed.
You'll lead with integrity and compassion, ensuring personalised care plans meet the unique needs of each individual while upholding their rights and promoting cultural identity.
Your collaborative efforts with case managers and stakeholders will strengthen connections, support transitions, and drive the delivery of high-quality services.
What We're Looking For You are an inspiring leader with a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field, combined with at least four years of experience in child and youth services.
Your expertise in trauma-informed care, cultural competence, and child protection principles equips you to lead by example.
With a strong background in team leadership and supervision, you're skilled at fostering an engaged, productive team and navigating complex care environments.
Your exceptional communication and organizational skills make you an effective collaborator with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience: Certificate IV in Youth Work, Child & Family Intervention, Disability Services or above - Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Social Work, Psychology, or related field.Minimum of 4 years of experience in child and youth services, with demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills.A Suitable Psychometric Assessment Outcome (or willingness to obtain)Knowledge of trauma-informed care, cultural competence, and child protection principles.Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.Understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures in the child welfare sector.Current Working with Children Check and relevant clearances as required by regulatory authorities.Why Join BoraCare?
