About Your Role: As an Allara Support Worker you will play a key role empowering the people we support, to be part of the community, to live independently & to live their best life.
You will work with a participant with complex high intensity support needs, mental health & challenging behaviors.
Duties May Include: Assistance with daily life activities Assistance with capacity building tasks Assistance with household tasks such as cleaning, laundry and meal preparation High Intensity Supports Community participation, including support to get to and from community access activities Assistance with travel / transport Behaviour support and skill development Who Are You: We are only as good as our people! You will need to be / have the following:
Flexible availability & ability to work across different shifts Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or relevant industry experience (highly desirable) NDIS Worker Screening Clearance & Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain) Strong desire to support people with a disability to increase and maintain independence Positive, energetic and a 'can-do' attitude with a passion for working with people CPR and First Aid Certificate Driver's license and Comprehensive Insurance If you would like to join our amazing team of Support Workers, please hit the APPLY button now.
