About the role We are looking for a Production Assistant Supervisor (morning shift) with proven success inproviding direction and ensuring the efficient functioning of areas including people management, production, safety, quality and compliance.
The primary purpose of the Production Assistant Supervisor is to assist the Production Supervisor manage the daily factory operations.
They are involved in directing and controlling production capacity, planning, labour management and productivity to achieve a high degree of efficiencies, cost effectiveness and safe practices.
Tasks & responsibilities Optimise Plant Performance: Plan and balance production output and labour to ensure optimal performance relative to capacities and resources. Customer Service Management: Oversee the achievement of the production plan to meet customer demands effectively. People Management: Lead and motivate a diverse team by fostering a hands-on approach to their development. Health and Safety: Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and company safety protocols. Documentation and Control: Accurately record all production data in compliance with company policies. Food Safety and Quality Assurance: Maintain high housekeeping standards and ensure compliance with food safety regulations. About you Proven experience in production management or similar roles Strong leadership and team-building skills Knowledge of safety, food quality, and regulatory standards Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Available to work morning shift 5am-1pm but is flexible to occasionally cover the afternoon shift 1pm-9pm.
