THE ROLE Reporting to the Team Leader- Logistics Support, we currently have an opportunity for a Full Time Logistics Support Representative to join the Logistics Team at our Support Centre located in Derrimut.
The purpose of this position is to provide customer service and administrative support for the Distribution Activity that occurs within our Distribution Centre.
This includes maintaining the Warehouse Management System, liaising with internal stakeholders, processing activities and supporting the management team.
Key responsibilities include: Respond to customer enquiries regarding orders and deliveries Process inbound warehouse receipts Maintain and update the warehouse management system Complete activities associated with the warehouse management system i.e.
release picks to the warehouse Complete pallet reconciliation and alert any concerns, issues or suggested improvements Provide assistance and support to the management team Review store requests including amending, changing or cancelling orders Process export and website orders Ensure all incoming stock is distributed to stores effectively Ensure any manual orders are keyed into system correctly when required Ensure all deleted items are removed from all store orders, re-keying any new orders that need to be entered Working with external suppliers to maintain service levels ABOUT YOU To be successful in the role you will have: previous customer service experience working is a similar role is essential previous experience in a logistics, warehouse environment is essential high level of competency in Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel, Word and Powerpoint previous experience with a Warehouse Management Systems is desirable some attendance outside of normal working hours will be required for meetings/training and as work determines etc.
