This is a residential role based in Cloncurry with a flexible roster (5/2 – 4/3 preferred).
We offer relocation, a vehicle, housing and cover your utilities.
If you reside in Mount Isa, this role is also available on a flexible DIDO roster.

About the role As the Superintendent – Planning and Scheduling, you will report to the Integrated Planning Manager and be accountable for leading and engaging a team of professionals in providing technical support including mine design, planning and scheduling, flow modelling, and ventilation management.
Key responsibilities include: Ensuring technical support provided to operational teams considers requirements of applicable Work Health and Safety Legislation, Australian Standards, and Environmental Standards/Procedures.
Developing, implementing, and maintaining design and planning standards and processes.
Actively contributing to an injury-free culture throughout the mine via Visible Felt Leadership.
Preparing medium-term mine production plans with consideration given to risk, profitability, and quality.
Optimizing mine planning scenarios to maximize business opportunities.
Carrying out month-end reporting and variance analysis on actual vs forecast information.
Fostering a cohesive network between technical and operational personnel.
Building underground technical expertise within the team.
About you To excel in this role, you will possess a tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering or equivalent, with a QLD UG Mining Manager's Certificate being an advantage.
Your strong technical knowledge and mining background in planning, scheduling, and ventilation, particularly in cave mining, coupled with your experience in computerized planning systems, will be crucial to your success.
Your leadership skills, ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, and commitment to high professional standards will enable you to drive continuous improvement and foster collaboration across the organization.
