About the RoleWe have an exciting opportunity for a Mine Survey Superintendent to join the Survey team at Olympic Dam. Through collaboration with execution, planning and design teams across site, you will deliver timely and accurate measurement and reconciliation that enables safe, efficient and productive mining.
This position is based at Olympic Dam, operating on a 5/2, 4/3 roster with FIFO or residential options. Ask us about flexibility! In this role you will:
Demonstrate an overriding commitment to health, safety, environmental responsibility, and sustainable development;Consistently follow the standards and procedures designed to enable you to work safely and effectively every day;Manage and drive the measurement and reconciliation processes, standards and complies with statutory requirements;Verify activities required to fulfil the requirements of the site survey activities, including the maintenance of site survey infrastructure and control networks;Build relationships with other work groups and customers to ensure issues are addressed and resolved effectively in a timely manner;Foster a continuous improvement mindset through BOS practices and routines.About YouA qualification in Surveying or GeodeticsProven experience in a similar leadership positionAdvanced verbal and written communication skillsExperience in leading and developing teams whilst creating an engaging, supportive and inspiring cultureDemonstrated experience in Continuous Improvement initiative, looking at innovation and challenging the status quoA proven ability to develop and implement strategic and tactical plansAbility to work collaboratively across different work groups and proactively engage with a range of stakeholdersExperience using Microsoft Office, SAP, Deswik.CAD & MDM or similar survey packagesHow to ApplyPlease apply before 9 October 2024
