About the role We are looking for an experienced Superintendent, Mobile Equipment Maintenance to join our newly developed Shutdown team, in a local role based at our Pannawonica operations.
The scope of work you will be accountable for is challenging and diverse.
Your demonstrated ability to engage, connect and positively influence key stakeholders at all organisational levels will play a critical part to the effectiveness in this role.

Reporting to the Manager MEM Shutdowns, and working within a dynamic environment your key accountabilities of the role include, but are not limited to: Leading a highly skilled team of frontline leaders and maintenance personnel in mobile equipment maintenance shut activities, often managing high risk work.
Demonstrating a commitment and passion to team safety An engaging and inspirational leader committed to building a positive and interdependent culture Implementing effective maintenance and asset management practices to help deliver asset and mine performance priorities Coaching and developing the team to build individuals capabilities and competence Evaluate maintenance efficiency, identify problems, and recommend solutions Demonstrate our Rio Tinto values of Care, Courage, and Curiosity About you To be successfully considered for this role, you will have: Be proactive with a commitment in driving a safe and inclusive team culture The ability to engage and inspire and drive transformational change Experienced in maintenance and asset management practices with prior experience in leadership roles at Supervisor or Superintendent level Experience in risk management activities Confident in effectively leading, mentoring, and coaching team members as well as interfacing with senior leaders, with a desire to build and lead engaged teams A can-do pragmatic attitude with a structured approach to delivering strategic objectives A current Australian driver's license If you are excited about the role and think you have what it takes but your experience doesn't align 100%, we still want to hear from you.
