Mechanical Fitter (Permanent) - Sunshine Sugar Broadwater (readvertised)Broadwater sugar mill need a MECHANICAL FITTER. Permanent role available, 20 minutes from Ballina. Hours are 7am - 3:30pm Monday to Friday. Overtime may be required during crushing season (June - December). Enjoy a 9 day fortnight during maintenance season (January - June)We are looking for Trade qualifications (Certificate III and Certificate of Proficiency)Heavy Industrial/Shutdown experienceProven exposure to working on a wide range of equipment, pumps, valves, pipelines, motors, gearboxes, boilers and turbinesAbility to fabricate small & large componentsMachine maintenance and troubleshooting experienceOrganisational skills and ability to prioritise jobsCommitment and good attitude to safety and cultureTeamwork and willingness to share knowledge and guide apprenticesHow to apply To be considered please upload a cover letter outlining your suitability for the role along with your resume.
