Principal Water Scientist or Process Engineer | Brisbane, Sydney or Remote Brisbane, QLD, Australia Negotiable – Brisbane / Sydney offices or remote for the right candidate Bligh Tanner has an opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic Scientist or Engineer with 10+ years experience to work with one of Australia's most innovative engineering practices.
This is a full-time, permanent position.

The Role We're looking for a candidate to join our award-winning team.
To be successful, you will have demonstrated technical excellence in water and wastewater management, be a great communicator, and have a passion to help bring about more sustainable and innovative approaches to water management.
This challenging role will vary from time to time based on the needs of our clients and the strategic direction of the business.
The right candidate will have skills and experience across many of the following: Drinking Water Quality Management Demonstrated understanding of water treatment processes Strong knowledge of the ADWG and its application Alternative/supplementary water supplies Wastewater management Water harvesting, recycling, and reuse Economic assessments and business cases Previous consulting experience, and can demonstrate successful project delivery Responsibilities The investigation, planning, and delivery of water quality management projects Leading, mentoring, and training staff (this can include clients) Marketing and business development What We'd Like (Selection Criteria) Well-developed leadership and communication skills Demonstrated commitment to innovation and sustainability Demonstrated technical excellence and an ability to take responsibility for the technical quality of your own work Demonstrated ability to foster and grow professional networks and attract new business Demonstrated understanding of relevant legislation, regulatory frameworks, guidelines, and codes relating to water management in our market areas Demonstrated track record in consulting Relevant qualifications: Degree qualified in a relevant science or engineering field.
If you are an engineer, you must hold Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status and hold or be eligible for Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) registration.
