Suncare Community Registered Nurse - what's involved in the role?As a Community Nurse / Registered Nurse with Suncare, you will be joining a positive and very supportive clinical team and will enjoy being part of a multidisciplinary team providing holistic and flexible nursing services through an integrated approach to support individuals living in the community.
You will regularly meet with customers in their own home to assess their needs and implement a preventative based approach to health care through clinical skill and knowledge, in addition to providing advice and services within your scope of practice. You will also maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records with supporting documentation of care plans, progress notes, customer reviews, outcome measures, incidents and consent.
This is a mobile role and administrative tasks can be completed at our Sunshine Coast offices in Maroochydore and also from home or co-working space, which gives flexibility and autonomy as you plan your own schedule.
This role is available as a Permanent Part Time position (60.8 hours per fortnight / 4 days per week). There is flexibility with fortnightly hours, and we invite you to outline your preference in your cover letter. You will also have:A tertiary qualification in Nursing and current registration with AHPRA - Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.An understanding of the impact of ageing and/or disability on the lives of individuals and family members in the community gained via experience working within the health, community, or social service sector.Demonstrated experience in the provision of best practice clinical care including but not limited to clinical assessment, care plan implementation, wound care and management, medication support, continence assessments and management, clinical monitoring, nursing advice and recommendations and general nursing duties in conjunction with the customer's personal care plan.Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in an autonomous capacity.Effective communication skills to promote collaboration within the multi-disciplinary team, Suncare and other organisations as necessary for provision of optimum customer care.Excellent time management and organisation skills.High level of computer literacy and effective and efficient data management and data entry.Also required: Valid Driver's License and willingness to use your own vehicle for workCurrent First Aid and CPR Certificate and National Police CheckWhat we can offerAt Suncare our people really are our greatest asset.
