Presenting solutions across our global architecture review board including security, data, infrastructure, and application architectures.
Collaborating with Solution Architects, Technical Leads, and Engineers to agree upon architectural solutions and standards.
Design and build cloud-native solutions including hands-on proof of concepts.
Research technologies and trends to contribute to our tech radar and solutions.
Supporting Teams in understanding the dependencies between systems impacted by the solution to allow for effective planning.
Assisting Teams in identifying risks and issues relating to the solution and any dependencies on other initiatives.
Supporting the engineering teams in diagnosing and resolving architectural and technical issues in a consultative capacity throughout the project.
Work closely with product to ensure our architecture roadmaps are progressively and incrementally built into our product lifecycle.
Who you are... 5+ years' experience as a technical lead, software/solution/technical architect.
10+ years in software engineering with extensive experience working with cross-functional teams in building, designing, and delivering end-to-end solution architecture.
Strong experience with building, designing, and delivering cloud-native applications that are built for global scale, reliable, secure, and performant.
Proven experience in solving highly complex technical and business problems and present conceptual information to all levels of internal and external management.
Extensive experience in solution architecture.
Strong knowledge in architecture styles, such as Services-Oriented Architecture & Micro-Service based Architectures.
Experience with data architecture, data platforms, tools, and data design concepts.
You love driving for technical outcomes.
Experience with databases and middleware.
Excellent written and oral communications skills.
Strong analytical skills.
Extra travel points if you have... PCI DSS/GDPR compliance experience.
AWS certifications such as Solutions Architecture.
Exposure to the following areas: Kubernetes, Elasticsearch, Redis and AWS services such as EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, and CloudFront.
Experience with observability tools, such as logging (Splunk, Kibana) and monitoring (New Relic).
