DescriptionJob Summary: Performs duties of patient care to adult and geriatric populations, under the guidance and direction of the Registered Nurse. Performs various housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe, clean environment. Performance expectations are defined in the competency evaluation.

Certification/Licensure: Successful completion of approved Nurse Assistant course with certification by the State of Illinois and/or documentation of successful completion of Medical/Surgical clinical from an accredited nursing program. BLS certification required.
Experience Requirements: Long-term care, rehabilitation, and/or medical surgical care experience preferred.
Working Conditions: Exposure Category I: Tasks that involve exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues. Use of appropriate protective measures is required for every employee engaged in Category I tasks.
