This permanent part-time position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our students. As a Student Counsellor, you will be responsible for providing vital support and guidance to students, promoting emotional well-being and fostering a positive and inclusive school environment. Your main tasks will include:Offering one-on-one counselling sessions to students, addressing a range of personal, social, and emotional challenges.Developing and implementing proactive strategies to support student mental health and well-being.Collaborating with teachers, parents, and external professionals to provide holistic care for students.Conducting risk assessments and crisis interventions when necessary, ensuring the safety of students at all times.Delivering workshops and seminars on topics related to mental health, resilience, and interpersonal skills.Maintaining accurate records of counselling sessions while respecting confidentiality and privacy guidelines.The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a compassionate nature, and the ability to build trust with students from diverse backgrounds. A relevant qualification in counselling or psychology is essential, along with demonstrated experience in a similar role within an educational setting.
