Student and Academic Services Officer (Student Experience and Engagement) Plan, promote and implement student events and activities such as Orientation and Graduation Create engaging student communications and social media content Contribute to a high quality ECC student experience Be the first point of contact for students enrolled at the College, handling enquiries and processing requests Work as part of a vibrant, collaborative team About the role The Student and Academic Services (SAS) Officer (Student Experience and Engagement) is responsible for providing high quality adminsitrative support across a broad range of academic and student services.
The role covers both student-facing activities and back-office administration, across both ECC campuses - Joondalup and Mt Lawley.
The person we seek will ideally have the following: Experience in Event Management: Demonstrated experience in organizing and running successful events, preferably within a university or educational setting Social Media Expertise: Proficiency in managing social media platforms, creating engaging content that resonates with a student audience.
Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including students, staff, and external partners.
Creativity & Initiative: A proactive approach to planning new initiatives, with a creative flair for designing events and online content.
Team Player: Comfortable working within a team environment, with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
IT Skills: Competency with Microsoft Office and other digital tools to assist with event planning, social media, and communication.
