About The School
Emmanuel Christian Community School is a co-educational K-12 school located in Perth's northern suburbs.
The School opened in 1982 and now has an enrolment of around 700 students.

We are currently seeking a dynamic, supportive and proactive Head of Learning Area (Science) to join our team.
Commencement would be the beginning of Term 1, 2025.
To be suitable for this role you will ideally have excellent interpersonal and teaching skills and a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with all stakeholders.
The desire to change lives through Christ-centred education is essential.

The successful applicant will:
actively demonstrate a commitment to promote the objectives and ethos of Christian Education as articulated in the Vision and Mission of the School be a Christian, active church member, and called to this ministry demonstrate strong organisational and administrative skills demonstrate initiative, excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively Selection Criteria:
Experience with demonstrated success in student outcomes and successful completion of ATAR courses to support WACE requirements.
Ability to build the capacity of staff within a culture of support and create a learning environment where students can aspire, learn, and grow.
Responsive to the learning strengths and needs of students from diverse linguistic, cultural, religious, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
Demonstrates innovation and creativity in the learning environment.
Enhance learning through effective use of ICT.
Proficiency in the Western Australian Curriculum.
Ability to initiate, organise, and deliver innovative programs that promote Science to the School and wider community.
