Student Academic Services Officer Bruce, Canberra, Australia About the role:
As a Student and Academic Services Officer, you will work as part of a team to deliver services that support the academic experience and overall well-being of students.
The role is responsible for providing high-quality administrative and services support across a broad range of academic and student services and administrative functions.
This role involves collaborating with academic departments, faculty, and administrative staff to ensure the successful implementation of programs to support student engagement and success.

The person we seek will bring the following skills and experience to this role:
The successful candidate will demonstrate well-developed administration skills, including problem-solving and attention to detail.
They will champion customer service skills with great communication and a desire to help students and other key stakeholders while modelling the vision and values of the College and university.

Key skills and experience will include:
Previous experience in the higher education sector in an administrative or student engagement role.
Understanding of key legislation, policies, and procedures relevant to international students.
Understanding of the challenges faced by students participating in alternative pathways to tertiary education, including the complex nature of the international student experience.
Qualifications
A diploma or higher (or, in lieu, at least three years' relevant experience) relating to administration, education, student welfare, business, or international relations.
Currently holds or has the ability to obtain a WWVP card.
