About the Role Multiple Positions Avaiable The role is to exercise independent professional judgement to plan, implement and monitor road and bridge works to achieve project scope, quality, cost, time, safety and environmental requirements in accordance with relevant policies and toolkits.
Construction sites are located throughout the Loddon Mallee region.
Project Assurance: Exercise independent professional judgement to plan, procure, implement and monitor road and bridge works to achieve project scope, quality, cost, time, safety and environmental requirements in accordance with relevant policies and toolkits.Project Monitoring: Undertake research and analysis to prepare, monitor and report on the physical and financial status of projects, and develop innovative responses to improve project outcomes and project processes.Construction and OH&S Advice: Apply competence in road and bridge design, construction and maintenance practices and standards to prepare and administer contracts for works.Quality and Risk Management: Exercise independent professional judgement to anticipate and assess potential project risks, undertake/coordinate complex risk assessments and develop necessary mitigation plans.Promote and support safe, inclusive and flexible team operations.Key Selection Criteria The ideal candidate excels in Project Delivery, defining tasks, coordinating execution, monitoring progress, and taking corrective actions. They will have strong Business and Commercial Acumen, maximising value and managing risks through a broad understanding of procurement and finance concepts. Their Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving skills enable them to resolve issues effectively, analysing available ideas and making informed decisions.
