About the Opportunity:
We are building a $500 million glass manufacturing and remanufacturing facility in Yatala just south of Brisbane.
The factory represents the largest investment we have ever made, recycling up to 200,000 tonnes of Queensland's glass annually to produce 1 billion bottles a year.
We are building next to our box factory and beverage can plants, creating a beverage container precinct to further support customers and a range of new career pathways for our staff.
The project is expected to be operational in 2025.
What you will do:
Work closely with our Design, Project Management, and Civil Construction teams.
Facilitate engineering and coordination for civil and structural works associated with various project aspects.
Develop scopes of works, work with key stakeholders on design processes, and oversee work packages execution.
Oversee practical completion documentation and handover processes.
Your Experience:
Civil or Structural Engineering Degree with some experience in a Design Office or site-based engineering role.
Broad-based experience in civil or structural engineering, design, installation, and construction.
Ability to work well with contractors and field-based resources, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, concise reporting, and a bias for action.
Ability to plan, act, and implement.
