Depending on your experience, you will ideally:Drive the technical quality of water and wastewater infrastructure design projects.Lead structural design development and delivery from concept design to detailed design to ensure work output is of a technically high standard.Have an understanding of design and/or design management on projects or program work packages.Contribute to the design team by actively assisting colleagues in achieving improved client feedback results, enhance satisfaction, and exceed client expectations.Assist in preparing and coordinating high-quality proposals and pursuits.Develop & mentor emerging professionals.Work collaboratively with a local and national team.About YouYou will need:A Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent.Proven local design experience, ideally in a consultancy environment.Chartered Engineer advantageous or actively working towards chartered status.Experience in detailed design of water and wastewater infrastructure projects, with specific experience in water retaining structures, pipeline, pump station design, and treatment plants.Able to produce technical reports to a high standard requiring minimal correction; and provide final review of reports.Good knowledge of relevant industry-related Australian Standards and WSAA codes would be advantageous.Understanding of related safety in design practices and processes.Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.Imagine a better future for you and a better future for us all.
