Our client is a boutique engineering design consultancy that offers a range of services from residential timber structures, concrete mid-rises and steel commercial buildings.
They are seeking a versatile engineer with ambitions of advancing towards a senior role.
This is an opportunity to hone in on your technical and client-facing skills.
Position: Contribute to the delivery of structural engineering projects with a focus on steel, concrete and timber.
Work independently when required or closely with a team of other engineers and drafters.
Design structural elements and perform site inspections for various types of buildings.
Liaise with clients and contractors.
Qualifications: To be successful in this role you will be / possess: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, specializing in structural engineering.
2 - 5 years of post-graduate local experience in structural engineering.
Familiarity working with steel, concrete and timber in multi-level buildings, commercial, industrial and aged care projects.
Ambitions of obtaining RPEQ and CPEng status.
Demonstrated expertise in structural analysis.
Familiarity with relevant engineering software and tools such as SpaceGass, RAM Concept, RAPT, Strand 7 and Inducta software.
Effective communication skills, empowering you to collaborate with the team, clients and contractors effectively.
