The C-27J complements the Australian Defence Force's existing Air Mobility fleet and provides airlift of people, equipment and supplies to support Humanitarian Disaster Relief and crisis response in Australia and nearby regions.Your RoleReporting to the C-27J Aircraft Structural Integrity (ASI) Lead, you will Supporting investigation of technical documentation, conduct of analysis, and develop and review of engineering artefacts.Periodic assessment of engineering data to validate systems and processes, assess in-service data against platform certification and risk assumptions, and assess the implications of in-service data on platform management.Monitoring the ASI sub-program, and proactively identify deficiencies or changes.Reviewing engineering artefacts, as required, within the scope of delegated Engineering AuthorizationProactively seeking opportunities to maximise aviation safety and minimise cost-of-ownership, over the short, medium and long term over the platform service lifeAbout YouAs an experienced engineer you will have a passion for the aviation industry along with.Bachelor of Engineering - Aerospace, or Mechanical EngineeringProfessional Engineer within the aviation industryWorking knowledge of Aircraft sustainment, configuration management, and certificationWorking knowledge of Defence or Civil Aviation RegulationsHold or be Eligible to hold a Defence clearanceWhat we OfferProfessional development opportunities, including leadership programs and access to online learning platforms.Purchased annual leave, generous paid parental leave, and flexible working arrangements.Salary packaging, including novated leases, to maximise your earnings.Health and Wellbeing programs, including an Employee Assistance program (EAP).Volunteer and enhanced Reservist leave, supporting your personal commitments.Defining Possible means something different to each one of us.
