Structural Draftsperson, multi-year contract, top $$$Reporting to a Senior Structural Engineer/Team Leader, you will utilise a system of measurement tools and techniques to verify fit of drafting solutions to site.
ROLE DELIVERABLES Facilitate civil/structural engineering skills/knowledge to assist in the design of engineering solutions.Assist the drafting team in delivering new drawing files, sketches, 3D models for the purpose of engineering analysis, and updating existing drawings, and maintaining engineering records for Coke & Iron.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE General computer skills with experience in Microsoft Windows Office.Experience in the use of measuring devices and techniques.Experience in the manipulation of 3D scan and survey data to assist in model building.Drafting experience with design of steel products.Strong safety focus including demonstration commitment to health & safety.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Skilled in use of Autodesk Inventor for 3D modelling and drafting.Skilled in use of Autodesk AutoCAD for 2D layouts and raster work of existing drawings.If you are looking for an opportunity where you can be for the next 5+ years and be involved in the design of solutions for a mission-critical function within a heavy industry giant, then we want to speak to you.
