We have a new opportunity for motivated and experienced Electrician within our Minto manufacturing site. The role offers excellent EBA conditions with an emphasis on promoting a healthy work-life balance. Working as part of the site Engineering team, this is a permanent full-time position that offers a mix of responsibilities and exposure to a number of different PLC systems and technologies.
Job Summary The successful candidate will have a strong focus on safety, possess strong communication skills and be able to work independently performing a wide range of tasks including:
Providing shift breakdown support for packing lines, mixing plants, palletising, utilities, and waste treatment plant.Understanding and conducting complex fault finding and repairs of electrical and electronic components including instruments.Participating in autonomous maintenance programs.Completing site-focused improvements and small projects across the site.Monitoring and evaluating the condition of all electrical, electronics, and instrumentation.Working as a team player to maintain and improve plant efficiency.Analyzing data to solve complex electrical, instrumentation, and automation problems.Training and coaching electrical apprentices.Earn a weekly salary of $2336.11 per week.Does this sound like You? Australian Electrical Trade qualificationNSW Electrical LicenseExperience in a manufacturing FMCG environmentExcellent skills to troubleshoot machine issues using automation software like Rockwell and Siemens (including PCS7) in a timely mannerTraining skills to train operators, apprentices, and fellow trades (share knowledge) after implementation of improvement projects or any major breakdown.Strong communication skills and a can-do attitude.Understanding of OH&S requirements and safe work behaviourExcellent verbal, written, and inter-personal communication skillsDesirable:
