As a local government authority, they are committed to transparency, accountability, and responsiveness and work closely with residents and stakeholders to ensure that our services and policies meet the needs of the community effectively.The RoleThe primary objectives of this role include but are not limited to:Inspect and report on Council's existing concrete asset condition.Achieve and maintain a standard of excellence for the community's path and trail network.Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Undertake inspections and record findings of Councils footpath, path and trail network in accordance with the Road Management Plan and other policies/strategies and record all findings into Councils Asset Management or Customer Request System.Undertake investigations from requests received within the area of responsibility and provide findings to the Coordinator or Team Leader.Undertake maintenance work such as weed spraying, removal of weed growth or minor concrete grinding works etc. as directed.Contribute broadly to the objectives of the City Presentation Department and Concrete Maintenance team to deliver a high-quality service to our community.Ensure compliance with Council's Asset Management and Road Management Plan with regards to assets within your responsibility.Through leadership and example promote Casey's values of Dream Big, Empower Each Other and Make our Community Proud.Casey City Council has zero tolerance of child abuse and is committed to creating and maintaining a child safe and child friendly City where all children are valued and protected from abuse.
