Australian Gas Infrastructure Group (AGIG) owns, operates and invests in infrastructure which delivers gas to more than two million homes and businesses, and is one of the largest gas infrastructure businesses in Australia.
AGIG manages over 40,000km of distribution networks, more than 4,300km of transmission pipelines and 60 petajoules of storage capacity.
We employ over 500 people with an additional 1,600 contractors working on our assets.
AGIG is leading the way for the Australian renewable gas sector, and are committed to sustainable gas delivery today, and tomorrow.
Our low carbon vision targets 10% renewable gas in our distribution networks by no later than 2030, with full decarbonisation of our networks by 2040 as a stretch target and by no later than 2050.
About the Opportunity We are seeking a collaborative and future-focussed Strategy Advisor to join our Strategy and Sustainability team.
Reporting to the Strategy Manager, your ability to think strategically and work alongside diverse teams will help drive the development and execution of AGIG's business strategy in alignment with our Vision.

This role offers flexibility in location, with opportunity available in Adelaide, Melbourne, or Perth.
Key Responsibilities: Participate in industry groups, lead research initiatives, and stay informed on energy transition trends to support strategic decisions.Provide evidence-based input and advice for policy, regulatory, and other submissions related to AGIG's corporate strategy.Facilitate knowledge sharing on industry reports and trends and report the performance of AGIG's renewable gas facilities to key stakeholders.Support AGIG's Low Carbon Vision through advocacy, stakeholder engagement, and hosting guided tours at renewable gas facilities.Create and update content related to AGIG's corporate strategy, including brochures, web pages, and communications.Embed AGIG's corporate strategy across the business, support the development of the annual Business Plan and Budget, and track progress toward net-zero and the Low Carbon Vision.Manage records of key AGIG and external documents relating to corporate strategy for access by internal stakeholders.Support the delivery of internal Strategic Planning workshops and contribute to a professional, safe, and inclusive workplace environment.Contribute to AGIG's Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) reporting and the ongoing Asset Transition Roadmap.Provide input into periodic reports, including "In the Pipeline," Board and Committee Papers, and Business Performance Reporting.About You: Relevant qualifications in Economics, Engineering, Business, Law, or a related field.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Proven ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders.Experience in developing briefings and presenting on the energy transition.Ability to comprehend and effectively communicate industry terminology and concepts.Knowledge of the energy sector, including key reports and trends (Desirable).Previous experience in a similar role within a utility or energy business (Desirable).What we offer: We are proud to be recognised as an inclusive employer by Diversity Council Australia, and our commitment to diversity and inclusion has earned us recognition in 2023-2024.
