We currently have an opportunity for a Strategic Workforce Planning Manager to join our team based in Canberra. The Strategic Workforce Planning Manager is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive workforce strategy to ensure alignment between the DPS workforce and the organisations current and future requirements.
Leading a team of four, the Strategic Workforce Planning Manager will oversee the delivery of day-to-day workforce planning activities, including resource management, business partnering, bid support, subcontractor management and CREW management.
What you'll doThe role has a broad remit, with key responsibilities outlined below:
Lead the development and execution of DPS' Strategic Workforce Plan to enable the forecasting of future workforce demand, efficient allocation of resources, identification of skill gaps, and optimisation of DPS' talent.Collaborate with senior leadership to align workforce strategies with organisational objectives, ensuring workforce planning supports long-term business goals.Use workforce analytics and data to inform and guide strategic decision making, measure performance, and assess the impact of workforce initiatives.Continuously assess and improve workforce planning processes and systems to ensure they remain effective and adaptable to changing business conditions.What you'll bringCert IV. in Project Management, PRINCE2, PMBOK or AGILE Methodologies.Undergraduate qualifications in Business, Workforce Planning, Human Resources or a related field.Post-Graduate qualifications in Business Administration (MBA), Human Resources Management, Organisational Development or a related field (desirable).Extensive experience (7-10 years) in Workforce Planning and Resource Management, ideally in the Professional Services or Management Consulting industry.Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, PowerBI Reporting tools, and CRM tools.Proven experience in a leadership or team management role, including the ability to lead, develop and inspire a team.Must be an Australian citizen (able to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Security Vetting Agency security clearance at the appropriate level)More than anything, you'll have a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a drive to provide high quality outcomes for the Social Infrastructure and Citizen Services business unit and our clients.
