THE ROLE:Austrade is seeking to fill a vacancy at the APS6 level in the Strategic Policy team within the Government and Policy Division. You will need to hold (or be able to hold) a valid Negative Vetting Level 1 security clearance and must be located in Canberra or Sydney. Applicants with Baseline clearance are encouraged to also apply if willing to hold Negative Vetting 1 security clearance.We are looking for an engaged, innovative and enthusiastic team player with demonstrated experience building and maintaining good relationships across teams and agencies. You must be adept at working in a fast-paced, diverse and cross-cultural workplace and network to produce tangible and practical outcomes.The Ministerial and Policy Branch supports and guides Austrade to deliver on Government policies and priorities. We lead Austrade's contributions in government and ministerial processes, policy and budget strategy, bridging commercial insights and policy and program development.The Strategic Policy section works across the agency, and with government partners, to coordinate Austrade contributions to strategic policy development and engagement on key government priorities. The team also guides the implementation and evaluation of programs supporting whole of government priorities.
