Role Details:Reporting to the Vice President : Group Reward and Global Mobility, the Reward Manager - Operations will be responsible for leading a global team of operational reward specialists to support the delivery of broad remuneration and benefits activities across 6 countries.Broadly, these activities will include job evaluation, governance of the job level framework, management of the annual reward review cycle, contribution to functional and annual increase budget preparation, participating in and/or leading the delivery of keystone reward projects, and the management of local benefits programs.In collaboration with the Group Reward leadership team, this role is also responsible for leading the assessment, improvement, and maintenance of consistent, modernised reward practices across the Group.As an employee at Gold Fields, we expect all levels of employees understand the importance of to act in a manner that seeks to align and enhance the values, safety culture and performance of Gold Fields with the purpose of creating in support of the enduring value beyond mining.About the role:Lead and develop a team of globally positioned reward specialists to deliver business critical reward advice, activities, analysis, and continued practice improvementsSupport the development of market leading gender equity pay assessment, management practices and cyclic activitiesManage the maintenance of the job level framework and job evaluation activities globally to ensure consistency of job grading and remuneration practices across the businessReview and monitor internal salary trends and ensure close alignment with market movementReview, propose amendments, and implement globally applicable group remuneration and benefits policiesLead the delivery of the Annual Remuneration Review Cycle across the Group, including contributing economic and market insights to inform the annual remuneration review strategy, and driving strong integrity of HR master dataRemain cognisant of modern practices, trends, and legislative changes in order to deliver pragmatic and comprehensive advice to the Senior Management, and inform development of Remuneration and Benefit project requirementsSupport submission of board papers, including required modelling, preparing and reviewing as requiredAbout you:Tertiary qualification in Business or related discipline essentialMBA or post-graduate degree desirableExtensive experience in remuneration and benefits management and administrationExperience managing the complexities of multi-jurisdictional reward and benefits mechanismsDemonstrated leadership capability, leading a team of reward specialists while anticipating and balancing the needs of all stakeholdersMining and metals industry experience in a medium to large multinational publicly listed enterpriseProficiency in administering and maintaining comprehensive remuneration frameworks tailored to the needs of international mining companiesDemonstrated experience in advising senior leaders and managers on remuneration matters, particularly in the areas of fixed pay policy, short-term incentive schemes, and long-term incentive schemesExperience establishing benefits plans in multiple countriesJSE & NYSE exposure preferable but not essentialBenefits include:Private Health Insurance allowanceShort- and Long-term incentive participationFlexible work arrangements on offerFurther education, and Professional membership assistanceApplications can be submitted via:https://careers.goldfields.com/AustraliaGold Fields is committed to promoting an inclusive workforce.
