About the role:
Reporting to our Head of People Partnering, you will work closely with our Organisational Leadership Team (OLT) and people leaders to develop and implement People and Culture strategies to enable CPA Australia to deliver on our global strategy. You will understand all the strategic, tactical, and operational aspects of our organisation to offer insights, tools, and guidance to our leadership team and employees. You will lead key initiatives and support the implementation of our people strategy.
Your key duties will include:
Co-develop and implement People & Culture strategies and initiatives that align with our overall organisation strategy, ensuring that P&C departments effectively support organisational objectives.
Consult on and contribute to proactive solutions that drive business outcomes and deliver on CPA Strategy and functional business plans.
Provide thought leadership on People & Culture related issues, providing guidance and coaching where necessary.
Collaborate closely with leaders to understand the functional strategy and identify the need for restructuring or redesigning of the operating model to enable delivery of the strategy.
Provide advice on the design of an effective operating model and structure that aligns with the strategy and improves operational efficiency. This includes analysing current structures, proposing improvements, and designing new models as necessary.
Determine workforce needs and design roles and responsibilities to ensure the right talent is in place to meet business objectives.
Support leaders to manage talent, retention, and critical roles within the business, providing advice and guidance on best practices, as well as providing support to the TA team with key recruitment activities.
Effectively utilise and analyse data to provide insightful business insights that drive smart workforce solutions, helping the organisation make data-driven workforce solutions.
In collaboration with the Employee Relations Lead, manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to both employees and management.
Drive performance management, talent development, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives, contributing to the overall success and growth of the organisation.
Enhance and embed the CPA Australia culture through coaching leaders and employees around cultural change and behaviour and acting as a change agent to drive agreed cultural objectives.
