As a Strategic Insights Lead, you'll engage with local communities and explore key areas such as sustainability, consumer preferences, changing demographics, and industry trends.
Your insights will drive meaningful change across our organisation.
This role will be responsible for planning and delivering bespoke research projects and using results to guide, challenge, and provide practical and actionable insights to support the planning, long-term development and effective delivery of Compass Group Australia's strategic ambitions to deliver on our purpose.
This role will be responsible for providing high level analysis of external customer insight data from independent market research, asking critical questions and supporting CGA to identify issues and opportunities for strategic growth and driving positive social impact.
This role will work in partnership with the Customer Insights and Engagement Manager and Business Strategy Leads.
Support the implementation of insights within operations, making recommendations to operational delivery and liaise with the broader VoC data team in developing action plans. Undertake market research, providing solid understanding to business on potential targets. Provide support through operational QBR's to achieve our $3bn business ambition by focusing on commercial analysis around strategic decision making, summarising, presenting and communicating complex information, undertaking strategic reviews and analysis. Build and sustain effective partnerships with research groups and consultants. Foster impactful and positive engagement with our clients and customers and drive our position as industry thought leaders through the delivery of enhanced customer experiences, embracing continuous improvement, and driving innovation. Lead proactive research and market analysis to support strategy and service development, managing projects from opportunity identification to insights presentation. Lead research and evaluation efforts to ensure informed decision-making, utilising robust evidence and analysing data to report key findings. Prepare and present reports for internal and external meetings, contributing to discussions on business strategy and customer experience programs. The Person: Tertiary qualification in Business Administration, analytics or research related fields. Minimum 5 years in managing market research projects and being responsible for analysis and business planning, either client side or agency focused on social impact. Experience in implementing and analysing both quantitative and qualitative research methods. Research project leadership and project management experience with demonstrable experience in planning, delivering and presenting findings. Demonstrable experience in contributing to corporate and cross organisational business strategy and program planning. Experience in leading/supporting change management or transformation initiatives. A broad range of influencing skills with the ability to develop and maintain relationships with a diverse set of internal and external stakeholders. Exceptional verbal communication skills for leading meetings, delivering presentations, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders at all levels. Excellent written communication skills for crafting senior-level reports, presentations, policies, procedures, and strategic documents.
