Summary: The position of Strategic Accounts Director is responsible for developing new business relationships and serving as the first level of support to existing clients. The Strategic Accounts Manager serves as a point of contact for the client and is expected to consistently provide excellent customer service and consultation services. They will represent client needs and goals internally within TransPerfect to ensure successful project completion and client satisfaction. In addition, they will develop relationships with prospective and existing clients to encourage new and repeat business opportunities. The DSA works on any day-to-day project leadership activities including collaborating with clients, account managers, and production teams during the planning and execution phases of each project.The successful candidate will have solid account management skills, excellent problem-solving skills, the potential to design and implement technical solutions, and the ability to build strong relationships with client and internal teams in multiple geographies.Who are we?TransPerfect is the world's leading provider of language services and technology. We accomplish this by applying our values, passion, dedication, and innovation to help our clients improve their businesses and achieve their goals on a global scale.DESCRIPTION:Lead specific tracks of work for large complex localization projectsFormulate sales plan to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targetsStrengthen and expand relationships with existing accountsAssist in new business development (proposal development, meetings, and presentations)Communicate the client's goals, project requirements, and represent the client's interests to the team to ensure client expectations are met and managed.Work closely with the project management team to maintain a continuous knowledge of project status to identify potential issues and/or opportunities within or related to the project.Ensure clients are regularly informed of project status and maintain clear communication with clients to ensure client needs are met and any issues are resolved.Negotiate rates and deadlines with prospective and current clientsEducate prospective and existing clients regarding the translation process, including TransPerfect's rates, justification for turnaround time and competitors' informationDevelop a regional/national account strategy as well as program-level strategies to achieve the stated revenue and margin goalsDevelop an effective understanding of the capabilities, benefits, and competitive advantages of TransPerfect's servicesEffectively grow existing high-level customer relationships with clientsREQUIRED EXPERIENCE:Minimum Bachelor's degree or its equivalentMinimum of 2-3 years experience managing large/enterprise clients/accounts. 5+ years of working experience in totalLead and execute existing Account & Growth Strategy for the Australian market, working closely with Business Development Director and client service team to achieve thisManage and drive additional revenue stream through upselling, cross-selling for local and global accountsAbility and skill to manage both client and internal expectations including deadline, budget, quality and processEnsure regular client meetings are established and optimized for core/potential accountsGreat communication skillsAble to work under pressureExperience in selling technology is a plus but not a mustREQUIRED SKILLS:Excellent problem solving and analytical skillsExcellent planning, organizational, and communication skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsIndependent, self-motivated, results-oriented, and dynamicAbility to work under tight deadlines and with geographically dispersed teamsExcellent interpersonal and negotiation skillsKnowledge of project management toolsPotential to design and implement technical solutionsA localization background is preferred but not a requirementPrior experience in managing complex projects is a plus
