Employees have access to the area's wide range of amenities, including a prominent health sector with a modern well-equipped regional hospital, excellent educational facilities, shopping, large selection of sport and recreation options, transport and other services such as childcare.Who We're Looking ForReporting to the Supervisor - Surface Fixed Plant, you will be responsible for ensuring the trades persons have the tools available to allow them to complete the safe execution of maintenance activities within the plant, in both planned and non-planned (breakdown) situations. You will work with the supervisor, stores and other invested parties to make available (kit and stage style) parts for the mechanical teams executing work.Key ResponsibilitiesDemonstrate a strong commitment to safety.Willingness to learn and be a part of a team.Maintaining tools, arranging repairs, or ordering replacements when required.Ensure tooling is "booked out" and "returned".Assist in maintaining the workshop (tidy & stocked).The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent communication skills, and the demonstrated ability and knowledge to work safely and follow site procedures.QualificationsMechanical knowledge, trade qualification desirable.Medium level computer skills (Project, Excel & Word) with the ability to write reports.Motivated and organised.Able to work in a team environment.Please note: This is a permanent role based in Orange, NSW on a 7/7 D/S roster.
