Recruitco South Australia's owned and operated Boutique labour hire and permanent placement company is currently teaming up with our client a Pre-cast Concrete products company that supplies pre-cast concrete parts to the commercial, residential, agricultural and construction industries, based in the Northern suburbs of Adelaide we are looking to secure the services of Yard hands and Store persons. You will be required to attend a walk through before being considered for these roles allowing you to see the work in progress also allowing you to make an informed decision of whether you may be suitable for the role.
In these roles you will be responsible for the following:
Store person - Picking, packing, wrapping and strapping of orders picked for delivery from order sheet, Customer service, working with truck drivers and customers, operating forklifts to load and unload trucks, trailers etc, maintaining customer first focus at all times and liaising with sales and office management.
Yard hands - De-moulding concrete products, cleaning of moulds, lubrication of moulds, pouring of concrete into moulds, some screeding and patching of concrete products. lifting pavers, under fence plinthing sleepers etc onto bench heightened pallets ready for packing and wrapping. Use of overhead gantry cranes (certain areas) forklift operation and hand and power tool operation and finally quality control checking using gauges and visual inspection procedures.
Store persons shifts will be Monday to Friday either ******** or ******** Must have the following skills: Must be presentableMust have a drivers licence proven experience operating forkliftsProven experience order pick and pack from order sheets Proven customer service experienceProven experience loading and unloading trucksProven experience of pallet strapping for long haul deliveryCollection of stock from different site plants Outdoor based role No previous injuriesYard Hand - working across 4 plants Plant 1 – Day shift Monday to Thursday - ******** Fridays ******** – Afternoon shift Monday to Thursday ******** Fridays ******** Plants 2 to 4 shifts – Day shift only - Monday to Thursday - ******** and Fridays ******** Must have the following skills: Proven experience in labouring duties (construction, concreting or heavy labour would be advantageous)A current forklift licence (advantageous but not essential)Ability to follow instructionsAbility to work in a team setting or autonomously as requiredMust be able to lift heavy objects (from table and waist heights)Ability to work in inclimate weather conditions (cold and hot)Ability to screed and patch concrete also advantageousPrevious experience concreting is favourable PPE - requirements for the roles - Hi Vis Shirt (long sleeve or short sleeve) Hi Vis singlets also accepted, Trade style workpants or shorts, Hard hats and clip on ear muffs (Plants 2-4 only) (Plant 1 standard ear muffs) other wise ear plugs and face masks (Plant 1 only) are provided onsite. Steel toe boots, clear safety glasses and cut proof gloves.
