This is achieved through thrift Shop engagement.About this roleWe are seeking a values-driven Family Store Manager who will efficiently and effectively manage the daily recycling, retail and administrative functions of the Family Store in line with The Salvation Army (TSA) mission and values.You will successfullyProvide management of the day to day operations of the Family Store, ensuring the store is presentable, provides excellent customer service and has adequate stock levels.Coordinate with the Truck Driver and the team for the pickup of all donated goods in accordance with agreed processes and proceduresEnsure the correct handling of incoming and outgoing stock and rotation of stock with appropriate sales and promotions.Effective marketing of goods for sale to meet sales targets, liaising with Public Relations to ensure adherence to policy and procedure.Complete all administrative tasks relating to financial reporting, banking and recording of same as per Salvation Army policies and proceduresYou will haveAn appreciation of, and the ability and willingness to promote, support and model, the values and ethos of The Salvation ArmyQualifications in Retail or BusinessProven experience in retail management, ideally 5 years +Experience in mentoring/training and managing staffDemonstrated people management skills with an emphasis on volunteers and the communitySound presentation and communication skills (both oral and written) to be able to interact and network positively with a variety of peopleExperienced and confident in using POS, computer systems and Microsoft OfficeCurrent valid Driver's LicenceCurrent First aid certificate or willingness to obtain oneThis is a full-time, permanent position located in Caboolture, QLD.
